Amridge University  - United States Air Forces

Amridge University Values the United States Air Forces’ “Above All” Approach to Excellence in Education

Being physically located just across town from Maxwell AFB, we at Amridge University were excited to hear of the United States Air Force AU-ABC program!   We have enjoyed a growing relationship with our local Air Force students and with those stationed all over the world who have been enrolled in our undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies.  We have enjoyed our relationship with the Community College of the Air Force for many years.

Now with uniquely designed articulation agreements we look forward to helping airmen and noncommissioned officers rapidly advance through the ranks with degrees that meet the ever-changing needs of the Air Force of the 21st Century. We also recognize the importance of addressing the educational aspirations of military spouses and have established special tuition rates to help them reach those goals.

Perhaps you have heard the old saying: “Preparation makes for opportunity!” As a service member of America’s armed forces, you know that constructive educational planning leads to success!  Maybe you are preparing for a military promotion, but regardless of your immediate educational goals all academic preparation will prepare you for a successful prosperous life, in and out of the military. The discipline and commitment that you have learned in the military will assist you as you are enriched in one of Amridge University’s online degree programs.

AMRIDGE UNIVERSITY’S ABC/AU Degree Programs

AMRIDGE UNIVERSITY’S Air University – Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative Program (AU-ABC)  Program is an initiative between Air University and civilian higher education institutions (including Amridge University) to offer baccalaureate degree programs via distance learning that are relevant to an individual’s Air Force career field.  The program is designed to transfer CCAF credits so students can obtain a bachelor’s degree with no more than 60 additional semester credits.  Students will be able to go to one centralized web site, the Air Force Virtual Education Center, for their educational needs including approved degree programs offered through the AU-ABC Program.

Ambridge University’s degree programs met the following criteria required of all participating colleges:

  • Meet specific accreditation standards

  • Require no more than 60 semester credits after the CCAF AAS degree for a bachelor's degree

  • Deliver instruction via distance learning

  • Maximize application of military credit

  • Relate degree programs to Air Force specialty
